The Application Process

Here are the steps that the Propertymax Management Group suggests to prospective resident tenants


  1. Preview our online listings or obtain a rental list from our office. Select the properties that meet your needs and then drive by the properties and the neighborhoods they are in so that you can determine if you like both the properties and their locations. After you have viewed the outside of the properties, contact our office to set a showing appointment. We will bring you an application at the time of showing.

  2. Make sure you qualify for the property that interests you. We require that an applicant’s gross income be three times the monthly rent of the rental unit they are considering. They must have a good rental history with no evictions. We charge a $30.00 application fee per applicant.

  3. Download and complete the Propertymax Management Group Application for Residency. You can download this form by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. This form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. OR Apply Online

  4. To apply, bring your completed application and a $30.00 money order or cashiers check (made out to Propertymax Management Group) to the office. We will fax the application to the screening company and give you a receipt. It usually takes 24 hours for the screening company to complete the processing of your application.

  5. Once approved you may place a deposit on the rental unit to hold it until you move in. We can hold a vacant unit for up to two weeks.

  6. All of the monies you submit during the move in process must be in the form of a cashier’s check or money order. This includes application fees, deposits and the first month’s rent. All rent payments after move-in may be made with personal checks as long as the checks are good. We always collect a full month’s rent at move-in and pro-rate the second month.
